Cover Compared was a DeFi insurance marketplace and aggregator for the global crypto ecosystem, offering crypto and traditional insurance products under one platform. Rather than underwriting insurance itself, it functioned like a comparison engine — connecting users to coverage for Smart Contract exploits, CEX hacks, and Wallet Hacks, as well as traditional products like Life, Health, Travel, and Electronics insurance, all purchasable using cryptocurrency. Its goal was to bridge traditional and crypto insurance markets by lowering transactional and administrative costs while offering cost-effective, crypto-payable coverage — and it was even the first platform to enable gasless policy purchasing. The company was powered by its native token, $CVR.
At Cover Compared, I supported the company’s marketing and community presence by handling video editing, motion graphics, and social media management — creating visual and animated content to explain and promote their DeFi insurance marketplace, while managing and uploading content across their social channels to help build brand visibility and engage their crypto/DeFi community.
